Jennifer Haskett

After beginning her education at the University of Guelph in Fine Arts and Art History, Jennifer Haskett completed her studies at York University/Sheridan College earning a Bachelor of Design (BDes). With a background in print production, Jennifer began her career at Ideal Graphics Inc. as a production designer. Concurrently, Jennifer co-owned and operated Brackett Design, a boutique design firm based out of Oakville, Ontario with clients in the publishing, hospitality and medical sectors. An avid reader and lover of magazines, Jennifer continued to investigate a career in magazine publishing and art direction. When an opportunity presented itself at St. Joseph’s Media, Jennifer accepted the position of Editorial Designer with Weddingbells Magazine. Jennifer now holds the position of Art Director & Contributing Editor at Weddingbells where she enjoys being able to combine her love of printed media and creativity while working with an amazing team.

In addition to her professional career, Jennifer has actively pursued volunteer opportunities with a varied group of community organizations such as Ian Anderson House, Goodwill and Easter Seals. Introduced to the ELN in 2008, Jennifer joined the Arts & Culture stream and the ELNStudio team. In these roles, Jennifer has contributed to the ELN by assisting in developing the organization’s branding and visual identity as well as direct involvement in projects such as Toronto Homecoming and the ELNStudio.
