Melanie is a diversity specialist who thrives on building partnerships to achieve social and business results. In her current role as Senior Employment Equity Consultant with the City of Toronto, she is passionate about working to leverage the skills of Toronto’s diverse population to support the Toronto Public Service’s strategic goals. Her previous experience as Executive Director of MediaWatch and Manager, Corporate Diversity at TD Bank Financial Group have given her an opportunity to develop valuable networks in the corporate and non-profit sectors. Melanie is a board member of Arts for Children and Youth, a Toronto-based organization that provides arts programming for young people from Toronto’s priority neighbourhoods.
