ELNnetworks
We meet on a regular basis to connect with each other and other leaders from the city region. We do this to learn more about the city, develop our civic leadership competencies and to figure out how we can work together to take action on issues critical to the region.

Talk it up, Toronto! reception for Toronto Homecoming
Friday, 08 June 2012
If you believe the Toronto region is the best place to live, work and volunteer, share your civic pride and help convince talented Canadians living abroad to return home on Friday, June 8.
We have many reasons to be proud:
- Canadians living abroad view the Toronto region as highly liveable, boosting affordable real estate, a clean environment, and a manageable pace of life;
- Toronto is ranked as the 2nd-best “city of opportunity” in the world, with strengths in finance, tourism, livability and innovation; and
- Ontario’s workforce ranks among the most educated and diverse worldwide.
Almost 100 leaders and innovators with global experience are coming back for Toronto Homecoming (June 7-10), and we hope you will join us at a social reception to welcome them and share what’s new and exciting in the city-region. Our research showed that many of the returnees to Toronto mention the challenge of building personal and professional networks, and Toronto Homecoming hopes to help participants address this challenge and feel more welcome and connected.
Who's returning to the Toronto region?
Toronto Homecoming participants have been selected through a competitive process and invited to attend the conference to facilitate their return. This year’s participants work in:
- Financial & Professional Services
- Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods
- Technology & Telecom
We thank Manulife and Rogers for their generosity in presenting this event.
